Description
Goldenrod is very valuable for both beekeepers and bees and its flowering period occurs between August and September, until late autumn. Since beekeepers have to leave some honey for the bees as food for the winter, loosestrife honey is definitely less accessible than other types of honey. It has a sweet taste with a noticeable, characteristic sour-bitter taste. It has a very pleasant smell of goldenrode flowers.
